David’s previous experience of landscaping for 8 years, being one of the forerunners when Chapter 8 was introduced in 1991 and utilising traffic management systems lead to moving to the traffic management industry. For our customers, David’s extensive experience means they are safe in the knowledge that they are in the right hands. As well as understanding our customer’s needs, it enables Acklea to develop and test products to keep Acklea at the forefront of the traffic management market.
Using the latest crash cushion technology from the USA, Acklea’s crash cushions and lighting arrows meet the highest of standards and offer unrivalled operator and public safety. For vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes a range of demountable signboards and mini lighting arrows further enhance road safety.
For the very latest technology, Acklea can offer a range of mobile variable message signs both in single colour LED and the advanced MS4 dual colour LED.
With Acklea’s partnership with Traffco, all the above products are available for sale throughout the UK and Ireland and for those customers looking to hire Acklea has a modern fleet of traffic management vehicles equipped with crash cushions and lighting arrows and full specification traffic management bodies. Most also feature walk through cabs and automatic gearboxes. Transits fitted with demountable signboards are also available for hire.
